This unit focuses on students’ approach to building with various materials. Teachers can observe students’ construction with manipulatives and scaffold their knowledge by posing problem-based learning opportunities. Students will be able to build various structures, problem solve with different ‘environmental’ factors, use various manipulative and recycled materials to build their own structures.
