There are a number of birds and other species in nature that use the principles of flight and there are specific physical features that enable these species to fly. Humans have created ways to transport themselves using flight and there are
certain characteristics we have observed in nature that we have adapted to suit our purposes.
Through videoclips of animals and human-made aircraft, students will be prompted to discuss the similarities/differences between the two.
