Students have the opportunity to develop technology that would allow them to data mine (collect information) their environment in which they are learning. The teacher would have a unit that would allow them to show the students how to collect data based on a variety of sensors that could be found in programmable circuit boards. They would also show students how to use Google journal to collect data that would assist in developing a solution to an inquiry-based problem.
