In this activity, children begin to notice that they see butterflies but that they might not live in the school yard. The students will explore the differences in appearance between butterflies and moths, as well as where they live. The children will investigate and collect their findings in drawings, photos and video as to how butterflies develop, as well as what is needed in the local environment to allow them to find food.
