Have you seen those glazed eyes when you ask students to pull out their textbooks? There’s a much different reaction when teachers pull out well-crafted experiments or announce a field trip; students’ eyes light up, and they become involved and engaged in learning.

As students work to observe the world around them and discover scientific phenomena, science becomes an exploratory adventure.
