Glass Beach, located in MacKerricher State Park near Fort Bragg, Northern California, is known for its shore covered with millions of pieces of sea glass. This unique beach was formed from years of garbage dumping from 1906 to 1967, which included glass, cans, and other items. Over time, the glass was naturally transformed by the ocean into smooth, frosted pieces.

Visitors are not allowed to take the sea glass home, as per California State Parks rules, to preserve the site for others. Glass Beach attracts many tourists, especially during summer, who come to see the sea glass and the tide pools. The best time to visit is at low tide, though access can be challenging for the elderly and disabled.
