Gibbs Farm in North Auckland, New Zealand, is a vast private sculpture collection renowned for its unique integration with the landscape. The property is dominated by the expansive Kaipara Harbour, which influences the sculptures with its scale and shifting light. The most famous piece, “Horizons” by Neil Dawson, appears as a cartoonish tissue blending with the landscape.

The collection spans nearly twenty years and features major works by artists such as Graham Bennett, Chris Booth, Daniel Buren, Anish Kapoor, Richard Serra, and others. The vastness of the land and its elements challenge artists to create works that interact dynamically with the environment. Most of the sculptures are commissioned, allowing for direct collaboration with the artists.

Gibbs Farm is accessible by appointment to artists, educational institutions, charities, and the public.
