EcoSpark is hosting a digital mapping workshop. This workshop will take place on May 30th at 4 PM EST. This workshop is intended to introduce teachers to GIS and digital mapping who have little to no prior experience and are teaching grades six and up. Teachers will learn mapping concepts such as layers and layer types, creating a web map, and will be introduced to additional geospatial tools, such as story maps. This workshop will bridge the connections between citizen science and biodiversity to digital mapping and the types of questions that mapping can answer.
This workshop will also be recorded and shared with all teachers who sign up. Sign up now!
