 FSL Science Inquiries  (K-8)

Curious about how to engage your students in Science and Technology in a remote learning environment? Are you finding it hard to think of ways to do science experiments safely and remotely? Check out our STAO’s Project Innovation French as a Second Language Science and Technology Inquiries. French teachers from Ontario created interesting inquiries that combined the FSL and Science and Technology Curriculum. In this webinar, we will highlight how to use technology to demonstrate science expectations for the remote FSL classroom.

Presenter:  Lisa Rossiter -Thornton

Lisa Rossiter-Thornton is a K-12 Mathematics Learning Coach with the Toronto District School Board. Hands-on experiments have always been her favourite part of Science.  She has a passion for inquiry and has written for three STAO Project Innovation Summer Writing programs.  You can find her most of the time in French Immersion classrooms where she also loves to teach Mathematics and Visual Arts. She believes strongly that teachers are an integral part of helping students to flourish and thrive as scientists and mathematicians.
