Intro

The Council of Directors of Education (CODE) is conducting a research project called “Science and Innovation in Ontario Schools” on behalf of the Ministry of Education.

Purpose

A key component of this project is the identification and collection of examples of current innovative practices in science education that impact on student achievement and engagement in science. Items collected for this project will be shared among all Ontario school boards and the Ministry of Education.

Sample Practices

Sample practices include integrated models, STEM models, problem-based learning, innovative instructional practices and lab activities, experiential learning. Consider this your invitation to share your innovative practices and inspire others.
