In this lesson, Leila made up some questions to go along with this interesting article surrounding CRISPR, the gene editing technique.  The article (from National Geographic) spotlights an area of research that could be beneficial for Queer couples and uses CRISPR technologies.  Should we invest more in this technology to make it safer before using it?  Is the ability to have children that are biologically related to us a human right?  Who gets to decide where the research dollars should go?

Attached is a document that can be used as a follow up to this article.  Students do need to sign up with their email to National Geographic to be able to read the article.
