Selling Commercial Products in General Conference Sessions

As an organization STAO/APSO encourages Teachers to help other Teachers.
It is against STAO/APSO policy for speakers to sell products for personal profit in general conference sessions.

Speakers may distribute electronic versions of their material to session participants for a maximum fee of $2 per CD for cost recovery purposes only.
These materials should be copyright-free.
Speakers are still free to share print material with participants but we encourage sharing presentation material electronically through the handout section of our website.

If your presentation includes kits containing consumables, the contents and cost recovery fee of the kit must be approved by the Program Committee.

Please include this fee information in your proposal in the "Materials Fee" section of the proposal form. The fee indicated in the "Materials Fee" section will be included in the session description of your session in the Conference Program so that attendees are aware of the fee.

Speakers who wish to sell any items commercially for profit should contact jana_grubb@stao.org to purchase a commercial booth.
